India Targets $100B Textile Exports by 2030

India’s textile sector is transforming into a high-capacity manufacturing hub, with Narendra Modi projecting up to 60 million jobs by 2030.

The rollout of 7 PM MITRA Parks has secured ₹27,434 crore in MoU-backed investments, integrating the full value chain and cutting export cost disadvantages of 10–15%.

Textile and apparel exports rebounded 9.4% in late 2025 to about $2.85 billion per month, aided by FTAs with the UAE and Australia amid rising US tariffs.

MMF and technical textiles are growing at 11% CAGR, supported by a ₹1,148 crore PLI, even as apparel faces margin pressure.

With domestic demand nearing ₹13 lakh crore, Ministry of Textiles targets $100 billion exports and a $350 billion total market by 2030.
