India: Ministry of Textiles Drives National Plan to Boost Global Export Share

The Ministry of Textiles conducted a national consultative webinar with states and union territories to strengthen India’s textile export strategy.  

The initiative aims to boost India’s share in the $800 billion global textile trade.

A high-level summit on “Textiles for Global Markets” is planned for June 2026.

Experts believe coordinated export planning will help Indian manufacturers expand globally.
