India Encouraged to Expand Year-Round Garment Production

India has been urged to expand garment production across all seasons to strengthen its position in global textile trade.

According to Giriraj Singh, the country aims to build a $350 billion textile industry with $100 billion in exports by 2030–31.

Experts believe diversified production will help India compete more effectively with major textile exporting countries.
