Australia Showcases Premium Merino Wool to Bangladesh's Textile Indistry

A week-long program introduced premium Australian Merino wool to Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry, highlighting opportunities in higher-value and sustainable production.

The Australian Wool Seminar gathered over 150 industry stakeholders from spinning, knitting, weaving and garment sectors.

eqwools™ technology was showcased, enabling 100% Merino wool to be spun on conventional cotton systems without major new investment.

The initiative promoted sourcing partnerships, product development and business networking between Australian wool suppliers and Bangladeshi manufacturers.

The move positions Bangladesh as a potential South Asian processing hub for premium Australian Merino wool.
